Who I am.


KORAX is an indenpendant creative agency based in Malmö, Sweden. Run by graphic designer and web developer Richard Bogren, KORAX strives to help brands enhance their precence and reach their true potential. Korax collaborates with brands of all sizes to craft unique, thoughtful design solutions that resonate with audiences and elevate brand identities. From branding and digital design to packaging and campaigns, I believe in the power of design to inspire, engage, and create lasting impact.

Why I do it.


At my core, I believe in the transformative power of design. I do what I do because I am passionate about helping brands tell their stories in ways that are authentic, memorable, and impactful. Design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about communication, connection, and shaping experiences that leave a lasting impression.

I am driven by the idea that great design can solve problems, spark creativity, and inspire action. My goal is to create work that not only looks good but also makes a difference — for businesses, their audiences, and the world around them. This is what motivates me every day.

What does KORAX mean?

KORAX, takes its name as a tribute to Sturkö Folkets Hus, a historical cultural hub in the Karlskrona archipelago. The name reflects my connection to the site's legacy of community, creativity, and shared experiences. Just as Sturkö Folkets Hus has long served as a gathering place for people and ideas, KORAX draws inspiration from this heritage, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in every design project I undertake. The name honors a place rooted in history, while I strive to build a forward-thinking future.Sturkö Folkets Hus was built in 1931, during a time when religion played a strong role in local life. On Sturkö alone, aside from the church, there were 4-5 mission houses. According to Sixten Wideblad, there was a woman in Uttorp who believed that dancing was deeply sinful. She had read about "KORAX" in the Bible, which she interpreted as the nest of sin. With this belief, she gave the name "KORAX" to Folkets Park, marking it with her own sense of disapproval. After my own research, I’ve found no trace of the word “KORAX” ever being used in the Bible.
 

What does Ж mean?
At KORAX, my logo embodies my identity and mission, featuring the Cyrillic letter "Ж." This striking symbol, with its dynamic intersecting lines, represents creativity, connection, and the fusion of diverse ideas. The letter’s geometric form conveys balance and structure, mirroring my approach to design where every element harmonizes to create impactful visual narratives.

"Ж" also carries cultural significance, often associated with transformation and universality, reflecting my commitment to bridging gaps between clients and their audiences. By choosing this unique character, I honor the interplay of tradition and modernity, showcasing my role in crafting innovative solutions that resonate across various contexts.

In essence, my logo is not just a design choice; it's a representation of my philosophy—merging bold creativity with thoughtful execution to foster connections and inspire change.
