Glyptoteket
Branding
2021
Experience infinity.
I have created a new visual identity concept for Glyptoteket in Copenhagen. My goal with the project was to establish a visual language that reflects the passage of time and Glyptoteket’s role in preserving art for future generations. The identity aims to help visitors navigate the museum more intuitively, while also providing Glyptoteket with a strong and cohesive visual presence for their marketing. By introducing a clear color-coding system for exhibitions and a flexible design system, the identity makes it easier for both visitors and the museum’s communication team to work with consistent visuals. The foundation of the identity centers on Glyptoteket’s responsibility to safeguard cultural heritage, positioning the museum as a guardian of the past, present, and future.Glyptoteket is an art museum in Copenhagen. Founded by Carl Jacobsen in 1888, it houses an extensive collection of ancient and modern art. Glyptoteket was created to share Jacobsen’s passion for classical sculpture and French impressionism, offering a unique space where past and present artistic expressions meet.A video showing the scope of the project
